About the Art

Illustrated by Ruben Moreira, the design features the protagonists, Tech Carson and Pat Carson, in gleaming yellow suits, symbolizing futuristic innovation and resilience. Ruben Moreira

Ruben Moreira (1922-1984), a Puerto Rican artist, left an indelible mark on Golden Age comics. Trained at Cooper Union, Pratt Institute, and Grand Central School of Art, Moreira’s career spanned from Fiction House to DC Comics. He’s renowned for his work on “Tarzan” Sunday strips (1945-1947), co-creating “Roy Raymond,” and illustrating “Wonder Woman,” “House of Mystery,” and “Rip Hunter.” His innovative splash pages and storytelling across multiple genres showcased his versatile style.
