We scan originals to make faithful printed reproductions, that can fool the eye. Original artifacts remain in private collections, museums, and libraries.

We use high-resolution scans of rare original collectibles. Minor retouching is done to remove dust or scan-related imperfections

Every purchase is custom printed and framed after your order is placed, to your size and frame style specifications.

Yes in many cases they are trimmed. We know that "restored" is a four letter word to comic collectors, and trimming is not even an acceptable practice for restoration.

We'd prefer to scan undamaged, unslabbed top grade comics with clean edges. Unfortunately, this just isn't an option for many of the most important and desirable golden age comics.

We strive to scan the best specimens, then digitally restore them to 9.9 condition. Since comics were originally trimmed as part of the printing process, we take the position that it's best to digitally trim, when needed, to deliver the highest quality prints.

Our framed print are made from the finest materials, and come ready-to-hang, with all necessary hardware.

We offer three frame styles, all made in the USA:

• Ashford - Extruded aluminum, anodized/powder-coated. ⅜” wide flat face
• Durham - Poplar wood, stained natural finish. 1” wide x 1 ¼” deep
• Granby - Poplar wood, antique-gilded pattern. 1 ⅜” wide flat face

Protection
Clear acrylic, 1.5mm thick, protects your art from 66% of UV light. It offers the clarity of the finest picture frame glazing at half the weight of glass and many times the impact resistance

Framed Prints
Your custom handcrafted framed print order is shipped 8-10 business days after your order is placed. Shipping takes another 1-7 days based on your order address's distance from the production facility in Derby, Connecticut.

We don't offer expedited shipping as our fast ship times can't be improved by much, and increases price greatly.

We are able to ship to our friends in Canada and to our heroes at US military APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

Make sure to fill out your billing information correctly, but put whoever you want (friend, family member) as the shipping address.

Our shipping carriers can easily deliver your order there. We include a packing slip in each box that details its contents, but it doesn't list what you paid for the order (just like a gift receipt).
