Kurt Schaffenberger (1920-2002) was a prolific German-American comic book artist renowned for his work during the Golden and Silver Ages. He began his career at Fawcett Comics, illustrating Captain Marvel and other characters. Schaffenberger later joined DC Comics, where he became the definitive artist for Superman’s Girl Friend, Lois Lane. His clean, wholesome style and ability to capture expressive characters made him a beloved figure in the industry.
