Charles Flanders

Charles Flanders (1907–1973), trained at Buffalo’s Allbright Art School, mastered realistic figurework and cinematic composition. His precision drafting defined The Lone Ranger (1939–1971), King of the Royal Mounted, and Secret Agent X-9, adapting Alex Raymond’s style for rugged frontier narratives. Later relocated to Spain post-retirement.
